By the way, last night I filed IFR as RV-10/G, and not only did
Flight service take it, but flightaware.com reported it correctly.
It's nice to finally get away from HXB/G.

ATC still called me "Cirrus 4CD" all the time though, so I had
to give her a reminder I was an RV10. But if you're gonna
mis-call our planes, you may as well do it by calling us
something good like a cirrus. Wink

That's for sure. Not only is the suffix similar, but they even
look similar. I got my number reserved and very shortly after
they spent a lot of money and reserved hundreds (or maybe
thousands) with that suffix so they'd be the only ones who
could get them. I guess I've been called worse things. Wink
