Had my Plane Power alternator fail this weekend. Needed my plane this week for business and next week for OSH. Sent to Plane Power yesterday and they didn’t have the part on hand to fix. So they are sending me a brand new alternator to get me going again. As has been mentioned before it is great to do business with folks in this business that stand behind their products. They are great people to work with.

A friend of mine owns an aviation themed hotel here at KIOW and always hosts
a pre-OSH pool party. Anyway, he asked me to post this to the list. The
price is right (read: free). There'll be a couple of -10 builders there
this year myself included. Anyway, if you're flying from the West and have
time on Saturday feel free to stop by.

They are great people. What was the failure mode though? I'm
surprised there was an issue, so it would be nice to know
what failed. If you don't know, tell them you want them
to give you the reason when you return the old one.

Broken wire on a circuit board, they did not have a new board on hand.
