Sorry, I misread your message. I can't get a response from
Glasair.org either. Don't know what's going on.

Yes, we've had a major meltdown.

Our main server was a Intel SDS2. It rolled over and died 4 days ago.
Intel no longer makes or supports that MB. OK, we can buy the latest and
greatest. Nope, none of the new boards support native SCSI drives,
everything is SATA. OK, we can buy a SCSI card and copy our drives over
one at a time. Nope, the new MB/p4 combos won't support NT2000 or the
version of MSSQL our older system was running on. OK, we can move up to
NT server 03 and the latest MSSQL, nope the file layouts in MSSQL are
not backward compatible and the list server software won't fly on the
new OS.

So, we've been reduced to searching the country for a new or used SDS2
MB. We found one and should have it Monday, if all goes well we should
be back on line this week, if not - I don't want to think about the
workload that path will create.

I hate computers!

PS/ New (used) MB arrived today. We'll be back online soon - I hope.

Hi Bruce,

Intel makes several motherboards that support scsi drives natively. You
can try se7520 series, they all do.

If you ever need any help in these issues we support intel platforms and
specialize in highly available/clustered/fault tolerant computer
solutions
