For what its worth, I recently attended Mike Huffmans

16 hr repairmans course where he spent considerable

time discussing this and other licensing-regestering

options.  I heard very little in the way of "opinion"

but was directed to the FAR's etc to see what the FAA

had reduced to writing.  Granted some of this is

subject to various opinions, as even the FAA isn't

always consistant.  I don't think that it is fair to

attack the "messenger" who is trying to be helpful

I've been flying for 35 yrs and learned a great deal

from him. If you disagree-fine, make your point,

document it and I'll be most grateful to you for your

effort.
