Hello Everyone,
It's time to get out the banquet and forum information to you all. We are
late with this because much of the grounds at EAA are being changed and
remodeled. In fact as we speak EAA volunteers and construction workers are
putting the final touch on the new EAA 50th anniversary grounds.
Our event will be held at the Oshkosh Elks Lodge, 175 West Fernau Ave, in
Oshkosh, on Thursday, July 25th. We have very comfortable seating for over
250 people, our own private bar, and award winning food! The full bar will
open at 5:30 PM for people that would like to come and relax early. Dinner
starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available for $20 per person at the door by
cash or credit card. Banquet information is also available at the Zenith
display. As always, bring your camera and get a picture of the special
dessert! If you would like to park your camping vehicle at the Elks for any
number of nights, please call me at 920-237-1450 or E-mail me at
backstagelive(at)gmail.com to make motorhome and camper parking reservations.
Zenith showplane parking will not be available this year due to site
changes. This is only a one year change and things will go back to normal
next year. Because this is the 50th anniversary of EAA, the parking
committee is using the spot we had for classic homebuilt parking and some
warbirds. Next year we can once again have a designated spot just for us.
The new Zenith aircraft booths will be located in the brand new North
Aircraft Display area. And we have the two best booths on the site! (booth
601 & 611) Go to www.EAA.org/AirVenture and get the new site map downloaded
to you smart phone for easy access to the convention grounds.

booth. There are an incredible number of great forums both for Zenith and
other companies and government groups. I added a few you may like on the
brochure. You can also download the EAA App on your Smartphone, which I
recommend.
