As a follow up to my 14 October message, here are some additional numbers to go with those previously reported, Actually, I will just repost the previous numbers and add the new ones:

N31BZ was at 2,500 feet MSL, density altitude was 3,880', with an OAT of 77 degrees F. 2850 rpm = 150 mph true airspeed and 142 mph indicated. fuel flow = 5.0 gph
2950 rpm = 156 mph true airspeed and 156 mph indicated. fuel flow = 5.6 gph
3050 rpm = 163 mph true airspeed and 153 mph indicated. fuel flow = 6.4 gph

For the additional numbers, altitude was again 2,500 MSL, DA was 3840', and OAT was 76 degrees F.
3150 rpm = 169 mph true airspeed and 159 mph indicated. fuel flow was 8.8 gph
3250 rpm = 175 mph true airspeed and 166 mph indicated. fuel flow was 9.9 gph
3300 rpm = 180 mph true airspeed and 170 mph indicated. fuel flow was 11.1 gph
Note how much the fuel flow goes up when above 3050 rpm.
3350 rpm = 185 mph true airspeed and 175 mph indicated. fuel flow was 11.9 gph
(yes, I know that is above redline)

Other thoughts: N31BZ has a solid lifer engine, serial number 843, with about 492 hours total time.
I was about 250 pounds below gross weight for these flights.
When I did several of the runs again at near gross the speeds were about 2 to 3 mph less.
