Actually I guess I mislead you, about the "not on purpose." The incident
came about when I was dropping down to a area that I wanted to see from
about 2000 feet agl. I throttled back to midrange and pointed the nose down.
I finally got back to my gages and saw that I was doing 90 or better. We had
just had some discussions about shock cooling and I was overly concerned
about that. Now if I am that high, I just spiral down in a steep turn,
trying to quit before I get too dizzy.
