Nice temperature. It's sub-freezing here in Paris. The question is how to do some maintenance work on the airplane in an unheated hangar !

Hi Remi,
Here is an excerpt from another book: Ojha SK: Flight Performance
of Aircraft. The basic bottom line is that engine performance is measured
and recorded in standard atmospheric conditions which includes
the temperature drop with altitude.
Power output is inversely proportional to exhaust backpressure.
It is a feature of all types of thermodynamic engine cycles.
