Leaving Monday for SNF is still an option I'm considering.  EVERYONE else is

going Thursday??

I am planning to leave INT very early to go down to CUB ... the plans from  

Columbia are to depart CUB at 8:30am ... anyone that can't make that time ... 

we  could meet up at a fuel stop ???

Ther's no way I'm going to make 0830 into KCUB; it will barely be daylight then 

 

Looks like Dennis and I will trek to Florida as a flight of two.  No problem.  Save us a campsite (or not).

count me in 2nd wave. may should go after lunch and

arrive about 6 after airshow. cant get in after about

1 since clsd. for show. they caught me right on the

deadline last yr. and had to go rent a car fr. ap 20

miles away. left home at 9 and still missed it. Reno.

Looks like I'm going down early Monday morning.  There is a Bearhawk BBQ

lunch at Kissimmee I might try to make.  Always thinking about what might be

next, ya know....

Did he say, "Bearhawk?"  I assume he knows if he builds one of those, he has to put a Barrows engine in it.

Forget that Bearhawk idea.  Why don't we take an RV-9 tail and wing kit,

add a single Cessna style strut and build a nice four place high wing

bush plane?



We could probably reuse the center section, tail cone, engine mount,

firewall, and some other parts.  It would be challenge but I'm sure it

is something doable.



Back when I was building my wings I kept looking at that thing and

wondering when someone will do that.
