				Went with 60# struts after I changed to  Todds Canopy.

				I used 80 lbs gas struts from McMaster.  My issue was that I mounted the canopy too far on the front side and I could not get the right opening angle (it opens only 45 degree).

 Glad to hear I am not the only one to do this.
 I bought the 80 lbs struts and cut the off.  Works ok.

				I went with 60# on the standard canopy.  McMaster.  Cut both arms shorter ( to avoid front edge of canopy touching front skin when open).
 Works great!
