You don't say what sources you've tried, but here's a tip:
Don't go nywhere near a 'box' store. The clerks there usually can't spell their own name the same way twice.
That said, welding cable is best obtained from a real 'welding supply' outlet.
You'll notice a large fenced area with hundreds of oxygen & other gas cylinders, and customers who look like they work for a living. (Won't be any baggy pants or low-rider cars with loud music nearby)
Most real industrial welding supply places even have the proper crimpers for attachment of the terminals.
Since you won't know the exact length, here's a suggestion --
Purchase the cable and end terminals, measure/fit the cable ON THE PLANE, then go back to the source for the crimp job.
Another hint - Some in the 'welding business' think that several sharp blows with a large hammer is a 'good' crimp......it'll weld okay. The Hammer Crimp isn't a good choice. Ask before they crimp.
Another source of really good crimps is a Lineman at your local electric co-op. They usually have an assortment of big long-handled heavy-duty industrial-grade just-what-you-need crimpers.
Sorry for the long-winded answer....keyboard went crazy.
