The oil plug on my gear box was frozen when I attempted to change oil and in spite of using a quality box end wrench the hex head was rounded out during removal. The replacement plug from Leading Edge Air Foils cost me $27 plus shipping. Now I don't want this to happen again so I am looking for advice on preventing re-occurrence. Pete

Ellery suggested a product called Nickle Seize for steel to aluminum contact. I had asked about something for the gear leg sockets.
