I am building a RV-6A and was wondering what the easiest way to rivet the floor ribs and baggage ribs. I took the F-604 out of the fixture to coutersink all my holes and prime the attaching brackets and was thinkng maybe it would be easier to rivet the floor ribs on while it is out vs. in the fuselage fixture. Does anyone have any advice?

You should do all the riveting in the jig. The spacing of the front and rear spar carry throughs are critical. You should be paranoid about the spacing because if it's off the wings won't fit and it's game over. That's what the jig is for. The outer floor ribs are curved and you'll only get them right in the jig. I've built 2 slow build fuselages and the paranoia was only slightly less on the second.

You also might try my way of keeping the floor ribs in alignment to drill by cutting 1"dia pieces of wood doweling and placing them between the ribs at a 90 deg. angle to align the ribs. Then tie a piece of string to each piece of wood and lead it through the fuselage skin holes behind the front spar. After you drill and rivet the floor ribs you can pull on the strings and remove the dowel sections.
