Flying an RV6 with a conical mount (H)IO360 that has the standard Lycoming rubber grommets/wafers installed for vibration isolation. I'm aware of the relatively poorer vibration dampening associated with the conical vs dyna-focal mount, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the "upgraded" Lord or Berry mount installations? If cost is an indicator of performance then the Lord/Berry mounts should be vastly better, but I'm not too excited about a six hundred dollar experiment. Any experience/thoughts/idea will be appreciated.
