Help!
I'm slowly working my way thru my elevator only to realize i did the final riviting before I put a dab of silicone or sealant between the stiffeners.  How important is this?  Should I drill out all the rivits and do it again?
Thanks
jon

Jon,
I did the same thing on my first set of elevators. I talked to the tech guys at Van's and they said not to worry. The elevator skins are now thicker than in the older kits and the cracking has not been a problem as a result. Don
