 Dick,

  

   Bob's pictures showed fine for me, but I do know what you are referring to, though.

 My step-father sends me lots of 'patriotic, political, holidays, etc. emails that he forwards

 on to me.  Some of them (maybe 10%) only have blank squares for pictures.

  

   I 'right click' on the picture, then choose "show picture".  Sometimes, but not always,

 this works, and then the picture starts coming in.
