Is this list pretty much dead? Haven't seen any posts here since I
rejoined a few days ago after a few years hiatus...

I'm here. Typically I don't post but I do read it. I'm on several other lists so
I don't know how much traffic is on this one.

Hi Larry,

I just rejoined the RV3-10 Lists and the AeroElectricList after a few
years due to personal stuff...
The -10 List has some traffic, as does the AeroElectricList, but RV3-9
is pretty much dead quiet.

That is a bummer though, as there were always some good discussions
somewhere, and some noise of course... I just sold my -6A project, as
I was thinking of buying myself a RV-3 instead.

It seems the snap-together kits have all but eliminated build questions. I'm
sure there are other old timers still on the list as every so often I see a
completion report from one. My project keeps getting delayed by more
pressing priorities. The current delay is due to an overhaul on my Navion's
engine. I had hoped to do that after the RV was flying but it didn't work
that way. Still only 6 months to go on the -6 but then I've said that for a
couple years.

I'm still here. My RV-6 has been flying for six+ years (805 hours and counting) but I follow several of the lists most of the time and reply if a question comes up that I can help with.

BTW, someone recently posted on one of the lists something about putting together group purchases of P-Mags. I didn't think I was interested when I saw it but I am rethinking it. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me who it was and how to get in touch with him, Thanks.

I guess technological progress killed the builder within...

Hi Harry,

Talking about P-Mags. Have they ironed out their infancy-/ teething problems in the few years that I was not paying much attention to it all?

HI Konrad,

Well, the evidence seems to be accumulating that they have. More and more of them are in use in RV's in my area, KLVK, and so far it looks like they may have worked through those early problems. I remain somewhat cautious but thinking about starting with one and see how it goes.
