Hi Brian,

Where in NZ are you located? I'm in Masterton at the moment, working on a project for The Vintage Aviator.

Hi Sonja

How long are you in NZ for? Maybe we can organise a Pulsar gathering while
you are here?
Brian will know doubt answer you but he is not too far north of you at
Hastings.

Hello Sonja,

We live in Havelock North, near Hastings in Hawkes Bay. My plane is at the local airport, Bridge Pa.

What on earth are you doing at The Vintage Aviator ? I wonder if you have met Jerry Chisim or Jan White [now Mrs Chisim]. There are both local club members. Also, coincidentally, my eldest Son does a little part time volunteer work at the Vintage Aviator in Wellington when he is not flying B737s across the Tasman for Qantas.

Not sure if you know, but I have a "vintage" aircraft in my garage presently - - a Flitzer biplane, 1926 vintage, 95% completed and only about 90% to go.

What are your plans/

Brian

Hi Brian,

I am doing a ground vibration test on their Albatros. It had a reputation for lower wing flutter during the war, even if they did not know why the lower wing was falling off. TVA is building a small production and want to know how it can be prevented. I am doing this with a German company which has a lot of experience in flutter testing. It is a rather interesting project. I expect we will be done with it in a week or so and I hope to have some time available afterwards to look around and maybe visit with people I know. My flight home is May 14. I do not know the people you mentioned.

That is neat that you have that little biplane. I hope you can get the rest of the 90% done some time soon.

Sonja
