You are quite right , and a great trip it sounded, but in the 5 days it
took to fly from Europe and the cost of the fuel alone, me and my wife
can enjoy the Gin and tonics on the airliner and drive up and down the
lakes in the rental car , laze around our vacation rental on green bay and
I am more or less guaranteed to get to Oshkosh whatever the weather might
bring.
We do have a close friend who is making the trip over in his Mooney so
anyone going, please watch out for a dark metallic grey Mooney M20C with a
rainbow painted on it. registered D-EDDN.
