Subject: EXTERNAL: Earl's oil cooler

I'm broken down in Searcy, AR and need help figuring out which Earl's oil cooler I have. The oil cooler developed a leak where one of the fittings goes in. I had a local guy (highly recommended) weld it and it looks like a dirt daubers nest now with several leaks and pinholes. I'm trying JB-Weld but as a backup, if I have to get a new cooler sent in, I need to know the Earl's part number. If any of you have the one supplied by Skystar and could give me the part number, I would be most appreciative.

Mine is dimensioned as follows:

Fitting centers 7.5"

Height 3"

Body width at the widest points 10.75"

Face width (b/t the tanks) 6.5"

Thickness 2"

Rows 8

Thanks for any help.

Jim

It’s Earls.  Right off the Earl’s tag.  Wouldn’t know the SS number.

Jim,

I just got off the phone with the tech guy at Earl’s in Long Beach (310) 542-0856. He says that part no. (61002) is discontinued. They no longer make intermediate sizes. The part number you would be looking for is either a 21 series or if you want an inch wider, then go with the 41 series. If I can do anything to help, let me know.
