Hi All, FYI, On Sept 7th. The EAA is having a webinar titled "All
about oils". I just thought you may be interested. I have "attended"
several of their webinars and have learned something each time. Lanny

 Roger,
I will change back to one of the oils you recommend, and have used the
motorcycle oils for all but the last 10 or so hours. In fact I believe
I can hear the difference when starting the engine in the valve
lifters. But I wonder why the Mobil 7500 Clean semi synthetic is on
Rotax's list if it does not have the correct additives to protect
 gears and flat lifters?

I was using MX4T synthetic, but on a couple of cross country trips I
could only get 100LL, and when I changed the oil shortly after, I
could really see the gunk building up in the oil tank. So I wanted to
go to a semi-synthetic for that occasional time when 100LL is
 unavoidable. Thanks,

 Jack
