I need to get together a set of baffles for an O-235.  Does anyone know of a place to get plans or or buy a generic kit?

Many thanks,
James

Try the kit plane manufactures that use a lycoming engine, they supply a baffel kit for them.

James:

Check out VAN's
Van's RV site. (Vans Air force)
A O-235 is just about the same size as an O-320
The side baffles are easy to make yourself... The rear baffles are the difficult ones.

Hi, James...

Depending on what plane you want it for, and whether it is forward mounted (where the air comes in from the prop end of the engine) or rear mounted (where it has be directed TO the prop end for exhaust), then they could be quite a bit different. Especially if the cowl is custom built.

However, if you are looking at an installation like a VariEze or Long Ez, then I have redrawn the plans that Rutan designed for them in CADD and can send you plans for a full size set. These will only fit the Rutan cowl design on pusher type aircraft...

You can see a picture of them on my website here: www.agelesswings.com/LONGEZ.HTM Select "Engine" in the left frame, and scroll down near the bottom for the pictures.

Several other pusher pilots have used these plans beside myself.
