Just to say Hi. Noticed a few introducing themselves the other day to this list. I'll add another new quiet voice in the background from Canada. I'm a participant on the aeroelectric list and a Falcoholic slooowly working on serial #908. Not very far along yet at all, but after the new house is complete next Fall I hope to get going full time on the project and then we'll see how things go. I have virtually nothing to contribute so far, but will follow this list eagerly, hoping that it will impart some helpful knowledge and that through it I'll manage to get to know some of you better. The names that I've seen so far I've already been envious of through the exploits and/or articles on the Sequoia site.

Hi Bob,

Welcome to the world of Falco.
Haven't seen you on the Sequoia website - time to send Alfred a few photos
and some background on yourself - or maybe post them here!

When I started out a few years ago I had no idea of the help and support
that was available from complete strangers from all walks of life, and many
of them have now become good friends.
As an example of the diversity of occupations, one of them doesn't even have
a REAL job - he flies an A340 for Air New Zealand - but he did build a
Falco, so I guess one has to make allowances.

I look forward to keeping in touch.

Cheers,

Rob

Hi Bob.. Nice to have you aboard. Hopefully others will join up to make
it all worth the effort.
Looking forward to hearing of your progress. There aren't many people on
the site yet but those that are, are a wealth of information, help and
fun. You get the occasional one who doesn't know what a hard working job
is when he sees it but they are all great guys... The Falco is a
magnificent machine and building it is an achievement of a lifetime but
without the people it would be nothing.

Welcome.
George

Hey Bob, welcome aboard!  It’s nice to get some strength in the local area.  Especially since even those damned south pacific “colonies” have more flying falcos than we have!  Stay on board (with the project and this list), and share the word.

Mike
