Everyone,
I have worked for hours today trying to fix my Hotmail emal account (without success). On my MAC
computer, the "email" part is the problem. I found I can log onto Safari, then log onto
Hotmail, and everything seems ok. It's the actual "email" function that is STILL screwed up.
Tomorrow I will bail on Hotmail, permanently. This is a serious PITA, and having a Hotmail account is NOT
worth it. I will create a new server email, and forward my email addresss to everyone. Thank
you for bearing with me while I try to get this mess resolved.
Obviously, in the meantime, do NOT open any files from me, because I'm not the one
sending files.
If this email goes out....and you're able to read it, it is being sent out by me loggong into
my Hotamil account directly. I will not use the Mac (little postage stamp) icon anymore.

Mr. Z et al:
Have had similar experience (on & off the Kolb list).
Common thread seems to be that the victims are those with "hotmail" email address.

Mike,
I use a Mac but do not use the Mac's email (postage stamp) mail. I use Google's Gmail and from my experience, it has the best spam filter. My Gmail account did receive two spam messages with your name on it which had links to some pill sales websites but it did not corrupt anything.
