Probably between 180-200F or maybe a bit hotter during an extended climb is
pretty typical. If it gets to 220 F I would do something to reduce it or
keep it from getting any higher. But 245 F is the max redline oil temp.

=20

I just installed a JPI 700 in a Cheetah with the small oil cooler. At 80=20
OAT, the oil temp was around 220. It was a new engine so I suspect it will=
get=20
better.

On my Tiger, I normally see 190 for a max temp. =20

Anything in the over 180 and under 200 range (i.e., 180 < Oil Temp < 200 )=
=20
is acceptable. If the oil temp gets much higher, keep it rich, and, if=20
necessary, reduce power. =20

I strongly recommend the larger oil cooler for the Cheetah/Traveler. =20
