  Think it is a check valve, as it has some "internals", plus the arrow indicator. C

				Yes,  definitely not CJ.    Is the invisible end  closed??   Or internal threaded for a fitting?
   
  If threaded it could be some kind of check valve – non-return, reduced  flow, etc.  If closed it may contain a piston & spring and function as  an anti-hammer or cushion.
