3 will be good.  Not sure how it's going to work really.  Never done this

before.  I need to choose colors and may help get started on disassembly.

It's going to be tough leaving my first born with strangers and walking

away.......

When I visited the shop mid December there were probably 15 people busily

working on two aircraft.  Ken Silverman is the owner and seems to be eager

to do an RV.  There is an AI on staff, former US Air mechanic.  He be doing

the disassembly/assembly.  I have high hopes...

The shop I am using is Tri-d located in Elmore AL near Montgomery. I have 

seen both their paint and interior work both are excellent.  Here is the

Thanks for both of the contacts, I'll check them out.  I'll probably have

to paint it myself, but it sure would be nice to avoid that.  My previous

experiences were mediocre at best.

would start at around 12k...

In case anyone else is looking for a paint shop, I received the following

e-mail from GLO Paint who advertises on the Vans Air Force website:



Hello Marcus,

 Our RV-10s run about $8000 to $8500 out the door.

the scheme and the fiberglass work that is left if any.

Your down time is around 4 weeks.

  Our next slot is the middle of July. We require a 

10% deposit to hold your slot so let us know if we
