Last night I had a night flight out of an airport other than my base. (It  was in rural area and I had planned to leave before dark.) No taxi or runway  lights and no moon. I had to turn off my 696 as it blinded me. I cautiously  found my way to the runway and back taxied for takeoff. Landing lights were only  extending a short distance and I was wondering if some of you had switched to  the LED type, and if so was there a noticable improvement.   only  night flights since getting back into flying have been a few out of FYV, its lit  up like a two bit whore house.[img]cid:A7C21EB6AA92455DB0C17585E8808345(at)Asus[/img]
