In AZ there is ethanol in the fuel around the major cities (Phx, Tucson) during the winter months when they are trying to cut down on emissions. If you go outside the city far enough there is no ethanol in the fuel. I drive to Saddlebrook, 10 mi North of Tucson suburbs, to get my fuel in winter. It is quick and easy to test the fuel to make sure there is no ethanol in it. As was mentioned, the pumps are labeled if they add ethanol to the fuel. We are close to the end of the winter season when they add ethanol around Tucson. I plan to test some fuel locally next time I need fuel.
