All-
My HF riveter doesn't want to grab the rivet shank anymore.
Any quick fix, or do I get another one?

Bill-
If you have not oiled it, it will bind up. Usually a couple drops of oil in
the air hole will loosen things up. If this doesn't do it, you will need to
disassemble it and oil it. You should not have to replace it.

Same thing happened to mine…took it apart, cleaned and oiled it…life’s good (or, as they say in the UK, Bob’s your uncle).

I used a couple drops of air tool oil right down the nosepiece and it started grabbing the shanks again. I think the teeth built up with metal particles and the oil helped loosen them.
