On page 29-6, does anyone know if the 1/16" inset of the F-10102A and B
baggage door seal angles, takes into account any type of rubber seal or
not? It seems like most rubber seals would require much more space than
that. Doesn't seem sufficent, or the baggage door might bulge out too
much if you add a seal.

Also, since this is the upper baggage door seal, you would want a good
seal to keep out moisture. Any thoughts?

Jae,

I think the last page in section 34 (baggage door) talks about installing foam weather stripping for the door seal. The 1/16" is basically the same spacing around the entire door, except the hinge side.

One possible seal is a product referred to a wing saddle tape. It's available through RC hobby supply stores and is used to seal the engine exhaust residue out of the interior of RC airplanes. Basically it is very dense poly foam tape that comes in different thicknesses and has a self-sticking adhesive on one side. This is not to be confused with servo tape that is sticky on both sides. I'm sure there are other seal options as well.

thanks for the reply. it appears there are enough options to get a foam
type seal to squish into 1/16". sticking with the plans...
