Almost time to go to work. Flying the B-24 can be so tiring.  Oh hum!

Had a beautiful day yesterday at EKY. CAVU with cool temps and a very nice size after church crowd that showed up.

Also nice was the proliferate of Yaks that showed up. No less than four. Doc, Dennis, Harcord, and one other fellow brought by their Y-50s and 52s. We had a nice short visit and I showed off the B-24 cockpit.

Buddy Boman show up too flying a spam can, but with a P-47 vet in tow. What a character he turned out to be!

Well got to go work. I'm flying the last week of the tour. >From here we fly to Columbus Ga., Moultrie. Ga. and than our final stop at St. Augustine. From there we take them to the maintenance base American Aero at EVB. That will be on the 4th. Than we're done until mid January. Until than I'll be making some mods to my CJ.

  God I love this job!

Yep Pappy, you are living the dream! Thanks for letting me crawl through her! Have been in plenty of B-17s, 25s, PBY’s, and an A-26 but this was the first time I got to crawl through a 24. Really enjoyed it! The visibility over the nose is as bad as the 50’s or a Corsair. None!
Fly safe and will see Ya’ll at Waycross,
 Doc

				Jim
Thank you for a beautiful guided tour thru the the B24. A beautiful machine.
The other fellow was Tommie Hudson, who owns a Yak52.
You have made your own " luck" , when it comes to where you are in aviation.
