Just paid my October fuel chit from my friendly FBO. $4.50/gallon average price. How bad are y'all getting hosed? Trying to get back my money in FBO coffee and donuts but it's costing me at the Gastro Dr,'s. Either way, it's more heartburn....

The price of fuel at O61 is $4.00/gal. We have managed to keep it  

down around there for the last year. I suspect it will be going up.

pay $3.65

Danged! Now convert the EU to US and it is a real ouch! Do the math…that gives our prices a whole new perspective! (~$9.12 US).

Check out www.100ll.com to find decent prices near your home airport.  Here in South Florida you could pay $6.65 to $3.72 a gallon within a 50 mile radius.  How's that for capitalism!!

 Are you sure its capitalism? In many case's when you see this big  difference in a local area make

 note of which Government agency own's? run's the airport and how much  Flowage fee/tax they have put

 on the avgas to keep the peasants off of the jet center / airline turf.

You can also use www.airnav.com to find the lowest prices locally or

enroute. If you go after the lowest prices be prepared that they often run

out and you should have fuel for an alternate. Just happened to me - I got

fuel outbound but they were empty 2 days later on the return.

I have burned 93 octane (non-ethanol) auto gas mixed 50/50 with 100LL in my 400hp M14PF for several hundred hours (30 - 95 degree OAT).  I cannot tell the difference compared to straight 100LL, except my wallet is a little thicker.



However, I am religious about using MMO in every load of fuel.
