				Subject: Harvard/ SNJ/Texan checklists

This is the memory Vital Action checklist required of every cadet prior to
presence at "flights" (hangar line training), in the Empire and Commonwealth
 Air Training Plans
which produced 1/4 million flyers in WW II and 45,000 post war. There were
of course variations according to aircraft type and theatre, but I used it
for most a/c until jets arrived - Lanc, C45, Dak, etc., even the T33. It is
generally possible to accomplish these while in formation without looking
into the cockpit too often. When that's needed the leader usually calls for
 a loosening out.
