Are there any Kitfox members that live in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho that would be able to put my wife, son And I up for the night of May 24th (Memorial weekend). We are coming from Alaska for my wife to run the marathon in Cueur D' Alene and just checked for lodging, not realizing it was memorial weekend, and found everyone already booked. Did you try Spokane for lodging? It's a larger city not too far away. Good luck to your wife.

I did live in CDA, but I am located in Phoenix now, so can't help much.
Try Post Falls, they have several motels and they are only 10 miles west
of CDA>
