I've searched the archives and haven't found the answer, so here goes. I'm on page 37-2 installing Van's fuel selector. The Blue fittings bring up a question: I did not use teflon tape, I used Fuel Lube. When you thread the Blue fittings in, they suddenly stop hard - like iron pipe does. I'm extremely reluctant to force them to the correct clocking. I can clock them correctly but they are about a 10th of a turn from the hard stop.

This is my first experience with the Blue fittings so comments are appreciated.
