This may have already been discussed but I've been off the board due to life for a while but I just spoke to Zenith and they told me anyone interested in upgrading their set of 601XL to 650 plans need only pay $125 and email them they would inform you on how do it.  Since I have only (almost) completed the rudder $125 is money well spent for the experience and lessons learned!  Again sorry if this is old news but I thought it worth a post.
