Hey all -
I'm not at the airplane, and was wondering if anyone knew the length
of the cabin heat control cables?
thanks!

Chris,
Van's supplies these at 72 inches long. I recall cutting off between
1.5 and 2 feet during installation. One routes differently that the
other so the final dimensions are different. Also the final is
dependant upon where you elect to mount the control knob. Van's
supplied length gives plenty of options.

Fitted mine a couple of weeks ago. They are a real pain in the neck. I purchased the excellent after market Stainless steel air boxes from Utah. I think that they are a real safety enhancement. Anyway I wound up fitting them 3 times. First a rough fit. Second to get my panel installed and get a final exact measurement, and third for the final fit/install in the panel. I would suggest the same protocol - you do not want to cut them too short.
