Scott,
Call Lockwood Aviation and ask about the Flight Design coolant thermostat. They should have it or call Flight Design themselves. You just tie it into the coolant lines. It really isn't hard to splice it in line. I don't think the thermostat is cheap either. I don't remember who makes the coolant thermostat. The oil thermostat is made by PermaCool. It was originally meant for coolant. You might want to give them a call and you might be able to save a few dollars. Ask PermaCool what the flow rate is through the oil thermostat if you want to consider it to make sure it flows all the coolant you need to flow without any restriction.
I don't have a picture. The next CTLS that comes through my shop I will take a picture and post it, but it may be a while.
