I have some friends in Oshkosh who have a house that they just decided to try to rent for Airventure. If anybody is wanting to rent a place and doesn't have one, let me know offline.

I too have a house that is five miles north of the North Forty at OSH. It would be great if you could get a bunch of places that RV-10 builders could opt for an upgrade while staying in Wisconsin. Mine has sleeping for 8 with 3 of those taken and features an HD TV, wetbar and Air Conditioning. Most campers may remember why that can be a deciding point. The last two years lulling campers into thinking Wisconsin no longer has microbursts, thundershowers, 98% humidity and 98 degrees of heat. It is available Sunday through Sunday.
I am arriving Saturday and leaving Wednesday when Deems packs up for the pilgrimage back to the Left Coast.

You’ll have to make sure you stop by the -10 camping area – we missed you last year since you were relaxing in luxury…

Looks like I will be able to make Oshkosh after all, so I hope to come by the RV-10 campsite and meet all the folks on the list. I’ll be flying my Pietenpol Air Camper (12 hours flying time from Virginia to Oshkosh). This year is the 80th anniversary of the Pietenpol design and they are trying to get as many Piets as possible to fly into OSH.

My EAA chapter is building a pietenpol right now in hopes of having it ready for Oshkosh. See you there.
