Hey guys, Thx for all your info regarding the pitot ports and lines. I
decided to order the Cleveland ports.

For anyone who doesn't know, if you order parts from a vendor before
Airventure and just pick them up at the show, the Wisconsin sales tax is not
applicable. I'm not sure what % it even is, but since I have to convert to
 Cnd dollars, it all helps.
 Regards,

Sales tax here should be 5%, plus most counties add another 1/2% or
give or take a quarter percent. So 5-6% total.

Sorry, doesn't work that way even though many companies do it anyway. If you pick it up in WI, the vendor has to pay sales tax to WI which is why most won't let you pickup at Airventure without paying it. If they ship it to you from another state, and can provide the shipping info if requested by the tax authority, you are then responsible for paying it in the state you received it and the vendor doesn't have to worry about it. Either way sales tax IS due, the only difference is who is legally responsible for paying it.

				Hmm,
Sales tax and use tax law is a bit more complex than that. Depending on
states involved, residence of purchaser matters, location sale takes
place matters, occasionally place of delivery matters. Might also matter
whether firm delivers or UPS/USPS delivers. Size of purchase also
matters. Things like cars and airplanes generate more scrutiny than an
LED flashlight. If you order an engine from a firm in non-sales tax
state for delivery in WI, be careful...since the firm may not have
expertise in sales tax that doesn't exist in their place of business.
May also matter whether finished product or just parts of a finished
 product.

But WTF do I know?...remembering days when we "imported" oleo from
adjacent states because of restrictions for "non-dairy" spreads in
Wisconsin. Legal and tax advice received on internet is worth about what
you paid for it or less.

Which brings to mind the saying "Volunteers pay taxes". But it's
supposed to be my honor to do so, isn't it???
