they have been happy with?

Dan,
I've had good luck with both B&C Specialty Products and Aircraft Spruce. Though ACS is more limited in colors.
I'm sure there are many others out there.

ACS is fine if you need to pay full retail, but, for my money I have consistently found great deals on wire and cable at SkyCraft.com
It is a great source of military and industrial surplus from the Florida aerospace industry. It is best to visit in person. They have a whole room for just mil-spec wire, but you can order by phone.
