Hi Bert:

If I recall correctly, there is a technique where you use a Loctite product (the name escapes me) that is green in color where you put a dab of it in the area of the leak and then apply suction to the tank with a vacuum. The sealer gets sucked into the leak.
Do a search in the archives and you should be able to find the specific Loctite product to use.

Yes, I used to use that on my Mooney and it works good on weeps but not running leaks. Not sure it's from Loctite though. Aircraft Spruce?
