				| I am considering collecting the air for my air instruments from within the instrument panel molding and adding a row of holes at the top at the bottom of the windscreen, The plan being to draw air over the windscreen and keep it mist free. Is this normal? or is there some other aspect I should consider?
Its a venturi scheme I am using

 Thanks

				| Graham Hi!
I blew air up over front screen using 2 X 12V Computer Fans controlled by
variable resistance from warmer air in Instrument panel housing. They worked
well. The Fans were small at about 50cms maximum as remember. If you intend
to draw air down screen in some way by reduced pressure I'm not sure that
will work as you are drawing the cabin air down that is already causing
 mist.
The screen will attract mist throughout Autumn to late spring so it's worth
an investment in a solution. Others will make comment I'm sure.
 Regards
 Gerry

				| Hi Graeme
I put up some info on panel cooling and demisting ideas:
 http://www.europaowners.org/forums/gallery2.php?g2_itemId=78355

My install is near the bottom of this page:
 http://www.europaowners.org/forums/gallery2.php?g2_itemId=27305
I went with 4 tiny fans using a three position switch that offers me 2 speeds.
I tested a lot of fans, the ones I selected really do offer twice the volume on haldf the amp draw of similar motors.

When shop is quiet boy do 4 fans sound sweet.

Demisting should be better than nothing and should be able to keep my Dynon and radios happier.
