This is ying, rich `s wife.  Rich passed away at 2:30  in the afternoon last friday, he was creamated in brazil, later I will take his ashes to the united state, when he was sick he really wanted to go home.  In the last two weeks he suffered a lot, now he is peaceful.

 I am so sorry for your loss.

  

 I bought one of his TR-1 kits in 1993. It was a  pleasure to get to know Rich, he was very talented and a nice man.

  

  He will long be remembered by his planes  flying all around the world.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I met Rich at Oskosh in 1999 and subsequently bought one of his aircraft , which I am still flying. He was one of the good Guys and a great loss as well to aviation.
