Brought it home yesterday with fresh paint.

It is as fast as it looks!

Safe and sound in the hanger now at KUES.

Fantastic!  One of the best paint schemes I've seen, and there have been a lot of great ones.

Thanks.  A friend of mine who is very creative, came up with it.  He had never done an airplane before.  The first scheme he did was a bit "nice".  I told him to think "Fast" and this is what he came up with.  I did not change a thing.

I should have it at OSH this year.

Randy at Central Aviation in Watertown WI (KRYV) did most of the fiber glass finishing and the paint.  The paint is Imron.  It is everything I hoped it would be.  It did take some time, I dropped it off October 14th.

I think the price was right - $10k + tax.  I will re-weigh it soon.  I am curious as to how much weight was added.

Nice design on the stripes. I like the flow and the small horizontal accent strip. Your buddy did a great job!
