Yes, I am able to get the bolts out but the bottom one is a bit nasty to get.
I don't have any pics right now but if you do put an inspection panel in, be careful not to go too far forward as the bottom of the nose skin starts to curve a bit before the actual bend around the nose ribs and the cover will not sit quite right if you go too far forward. You might also want to check with Caleb at the Zenith factory before cutting into the nose skin as an inspection panel might not be structurally acceptable.

Hi Doug,
Could you remove the bolts if you needed to. If so, I probably should do the same. Would you have a picture?

I put an inspection panel adjacent to where the str= ut enters the wing so that I can inspect those bolts at every annual.

Hi all,
=
I rivetted the trailing edge of the nose skin to the spar = on the bottom side. But realize now I cannot get that upside down bolt in t= he upper strut fitting because the skin is rivetted tight in this position.= On the right wing I was sure to get it on and the bolts torqued before I r= ivetted on the skin, thought I would get smart on the left wing, not so. Ha= s anybody else done this, and is there an alternative to drilling out 40 so= me A4 rivets to get this bolt in.
Thanks,
Perry
