Isn't that going to be inconvenient for refilling and turning on and off?
Were you thinking of making an access door?

Albert

Tank is semi permanent with a remote filler port. It is not meant to be removed fir filling. Take a look at the Mountain High 4ip system.

I’m sure I've got some better photos on my laptop, but this is the best I’ve got on my phone from way back when....

Basically used opposing aluminum angle riveted to the flat side of the stringer. A .063 plate riveted to those. Couple of large lightening holes in it to remove weight. Then the clamps attached to the plate.

Has stayed quite well. You have to be careful to install he bottle with an air gap between the bottom stringers, so you’re no let running the strikers and bottle together on the bottom.

My fill port is also on the bulkhead just above the baggage door. So you can open the door, kneel down and look up, and find the fill port/gauge.

If you need better photos, let me know. Mine is opened up at the minute and hope to close it back up in the next day or two.

Have you looked at the CG? Some builders end up limited by aft cg, not weight, with a nearly full load.

No aft CG issues with mine. And I have two pc-680’s back there. Bottle is carbon fiber though...

I do plan to replace the 680’s with EarthX batteries next time just to provide a bit of CG relief.

But on the numbers now, I don’t have any issues going out aft....... /w D4A5 and MT on the front end.

The Odyssey 925L is a better match and a lot less costly unless you
absolutely have to have two independent batteries for two electronic
ignitions. ( the 925 series are very close in capacity and weight to the
recommended RG25XC with a lot better cranking) The EarthX are very
attractive, but VERY pricey.

I have not found any pictures yet. My tanks is mounted on the bulkhead
itself and stays with the bulkhead when the bulkhead is removed. I also
installed a fill port on the bulkhead.....so easy top offs. I have a
Mountain High system so I do not service the tank often.

Hi Phil

Thanks for the info.

Any additional pix you may have would be most helpful.
