Does anyone know how the fuel gauge/sender is wired ? The red/black/ are positive/negative. I presume the yellow and green is the sender but what is the single blue wire on the left side of the sender (that changes to dark green at the gauge) ?
The blue capped terminal on the sender with a lime and a blue wire is ground.

 Paul,

Attached are two scanned pages. The first is the wiring diagram for the wiring connection between the fuel sensor and the fuel gage on the panel. The second is a picture of the connections (K2, K3, K4, and V3) on the fuel sensor. There should be four connection points on the back of the fuel gage marked BL (blue), BK (Black), YL (Yellow), RD (red). They are connected to the sensor as shown on the diagram. The red “Low Fuel” light is also connected to the sensor as shown on the diagram. If you have any questions get back with me.
