How about a feature that gives an indication that the OVM has activated? Other than a tripped field breaker? Perhaps an idiot light?
A field breaker could trip for a few reasons:
1. Regulator failure
2. Regulator feed wire gets into trouble
3. OVM crowbar event
It would be nice to know that the field breaker has tripped because of an over-voltage event.

If you have no other form of electrical system health indication, the ACTIVE NOTIFICATION OF LOW VOLTAGE should be #1. This simple accessory covers annunciation of every critical failure of engine drive power.
Been digitally incognito for a few days. We're in phase II of our expedition and hanging out in WiFi civilization! Getting the bro married off on Sunday. Headed home on Monday.
